The Evergreen Center offers both paid and unpaid internship opportunities to those completing certification requirements in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Interns are eligible for employment in a variety of positions in either the school or one of our thirteen community residences.
Interns wishing to commit to consistent weekly schedules may be hired as Instructors working
up to 40 hours a week. These positions are benefit eligible and may include tuition support
towards the completion of their program. BCBA supervision hours will be provided in order to
meet the requirements to sit for the BCBA examination.
Interns interested in a more flexible schedule, may be hired as "substitute" staff. Substitute staff schedule their hours on a weekly basis, and may work as little as eight or as much as forty hours a week. This position also affords interns with the opportunity to receive BCBA supervision hours for their required fieldwork.
Interns may also meet their BCBA supervision requirements through an unpaid experience, primarily at the Central Education Facility. These opportunities may be scheduled for as little as 10 hours a week.
All Interns must meet the minimum qualifications for their assigned position and comply with all standard hiring practices of the agency.
